: CENtree Platform Engineer

- Role Summary

The CENtree Platform Engineer will be responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining, and extending the SciBite CENtree ontology management platform. This engineer will focus on the underlying platform architecture, integration with enterprise data ecosystems, and ensuring scalability, resilience, and security of ontology services.
- Must-Have Technical Skills

2.1 CENtree Platform Administration
- Deploy, configure, and upgrade CENtree in cloud or on-prem environments
- Manage user roles, authentication (SSO/SAML), and secure access
- Monitor platform health, performance, and availability
- Administer system configuration (backups, logging, alerting)

2.2 Integration & APIs
- Integrate CENtree with data catalogs, LIMS/ELN, and analytics platforms
- Develop and maintain REST API endpoints for ingestion and access
- Automate ontology sync with upstream authoritative systems

2.3 DevOps & Cloud
- Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- CI/CD pipelines for deployment and upgrades
- Cloud experience (AWS)
- Infrastructure automation (Terraform/Ansible)

2.4 Security & Compliance
- Implement and monitor access controls and audit trails




- Support regulatory and data privacy requirements (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage the CENtree platform infrastructure
- Integrate CENtree with enterprise architecture (data catalogs, LIMS, ELN, etc.)
- Ensure secure and compliant platform operations
- Collaborate with ontology engineers & data stewards for seamless service
- Monitor and optimize platform performance and reliability
- Develop documentation and runbooks for operations and upgrades
- Soft Skills
- Effective documentation and communication with technical/non-technical teams
- Problem-solving in complex data and ontology environments
- Stakeholder management for business continuity and security
- Additional Details
- Familiarity with ontology-driven life sciences or pharma environments preferred
- Availability for regular platform support and upgrades
