We are hiring for a Category Manger for our leading client in commercial electronic product which caters to HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant, and Caf), Food and Beverage (F&B;), and Hospitality industry sectors

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Category Manager to drive category growth, profitability, and business performance. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end category management, including P&L; ownership, strategic planning, vendor management, and business expansion, while also supporting business continuity and retention initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and manage the complete Profit & Loss (P&L;) for assigned product categories.
- Develop and execute category strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiations, pricing, and sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure effective execution of business plans.
- Monitor category performance through regular reviews, MIS,



and business analytics.
- Drive retention strategies and establish backup/succession plans for critical business functions.
- Ensure optimal inventory management and forecasting to support business objectives.
- Present business reviews and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mandatory).
- MBA from a reputed institution preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Category Management, Product Management, or Business Management roles.
- Proven experience in managing P&L; responsibilities for a product/category/business unit.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in B2B/Industrial/Electrical categories will be an added advantage.
