Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter with experience in Raised Access Flooring (RAF) installation to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in installing pedestal-supported flooring systems for commercial, IT/server room, office, and other project environments.

The candidate should have good attention to detail, basic measurement and leveling skills, and the ability to understand technical drawings and floor layout plans.

Key Responsibilities

- Install raised access flooring systems, including pedestals, stringers, and floor panels.
- Measure, mark, and lay out floor grids as per architectural/engineering drawings.
- Cut and shape floor panels around columns, walls, doors, and other services.
- Adjust pedestal heights to ensure a level and stable finished floor.
- Install perimeter trims, ramps, steps, and other accessories as required.
- Cut openings for cable outlets, air vents, floor boxes, and other services.
- Ensure proper load-bearing capacity and structural stability of the flooring system.
- Coordinate with electricians, HVAC, IT, and other site teams for under-floor services.
- Inspect completed work for levelness, alignment, stability, and finishing quality.
- Follow all safety rules, site protocols, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Estimate the material and labour requirements for assigned work areas.
- Report any site issues, material requirements,



or technical concerns to the Site Supervisor/Project Manager.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably with 1–3+ years of experience in Raised Access Flooring installation.
- Knowledge of different RAF systems, including calcium sulphate, steel, and wood-core panels.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and floor layout plans.
- Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of measurements, calculations, and leveling.
- ITI/Trade School/Apprenticeship qualification will be an added advantage.
- Valid driving licence will be an advantage if travel to project sites is required.
- Willingness to travel to different project sites as required.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs (approximately 22 kg).
- Comfortable with kneeling, bending, and working close to the floor for extended periods.
- Ability to work in commercial, industrial, and construction site environments.
- Ability to follow safety instructions and use required PPE.

Compensation & Benefits Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹23,000 per month

Other benefits: As per company policy.
