Role Description The Career Advisor is a full-time remote role responsible for guiding learners through their career exploration, planning, and job search processes. Day-to-day tasks include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing career interests and strengths, and creating individualized career roadmaps. The role involves supporting learners with resume and portfolio development, interview preparation, and internship or job placement strategies.

The Career





Advisor collaborates with instructional and placement teams to align educational offerings with market needs and may deliver workshops or webinars on career readiness topics. The advisor is expected to maintain accurate learner records, track progress, and provide ongoing encouragement and feedback in a professional and inclusive manner.

Qualifications

- Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management skills to help learners define goals and build actionable career plans.
- Student Counseling and Communication skills to support diverse learners through clear guidance, active listening, and constructive feedback.
- Experience in coaching or advising roles, preferably in education, training, or workforce development.
- Strong understanding of current job market trends, hiring practices, and career readiness best practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with digital tools for virtual counseling, documentation, and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or a related field; relevant certifications in career counseling are a plus.
