Role Description The Cambridge Physics (Online) role is a full time remote position responsible for teaching Physics to IGCSE and A-Level students in a virtual classroom environment. The educator will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge curriculum standards, explain complex concepts clearly, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.

Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson materials, conducting live online classes, assigning and grading assessments, and providing timely feedback to learners. The role also involves monitoring student progress, offering academic guidance, collaborating with other educators to improve course content,



and maintaining accurate records of student performance. The educator will use digital tools and platforms to manage classes, communicate with learners and guardians, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Physics and Physics Education, with the ability to teach IGCSE and A-Level Cambridge syllabi effectively.
- Knowledge in Radiation and Medical Physics, with the capacity to relate these topics to real-world and cross-disciplinary applications.
- Background in Theoretical Physics, enabling clear explanations of abstract concepts and problem-solving strategies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Education, or a closely related field, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
- Experience in online teaching or tutoring, including familiarity with virtual classroom tools and learning management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management in an online setting, and a learner-centered teaching approach.
- Ability to design assessments, track student progress, and adjust instruction based on data and feedback.
- Commitment to inclusivity, professionalism, and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
