Responsibilities

- Manage high-volume inbound and outbound phone calls with professionalism, courtesy, and clarity in multiple languages if applicable.
- Assist patients with appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, and follow-up inquiries using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Gather and verify patient information, medical history, and insurance details accurately through data entry and documentation.
- Provide basic healthcare support by answering questions related to medical procedures, billing processes, or insurance coverage.
- Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and safeguarding sensitive patient data during all interactions.




- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance representatives to resolve patient issues efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools and specialized healthcare software to document interactions, update records, and generate reports as needed.

Requirements

- Proven experience in call center environments or medical office settings with excellent phone etiquette.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse populations.
- Proficiency with computer systems including EMR/EHR platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and data entry tools.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, health insurance processes, and electronic health records management.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with problem-solving abilities to address patient concerns promptly.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a quick-paced environment.
- Previous experience in healthcare support or medical office work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
