Role Description The Cadmatic Outfitting and Piping Design Engineer will work on-site in Hyderabad in a full time capacity, contributing to detailed piping and outfitting designs for industrial and engineering projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and modifying 3D piping models in Cadmatic, preparing layout drawings, isometrics, and fabrication drawings, and ensuring designs comply with relevant mechanical and industry standards.



The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, reviewing design inputs and specifications, and performing basic stress and flexibility checks related to piping systems.

The engineer will support design reviews, resolve technical issues, optimize routing for safety and maintainability, and assist in documentation and updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications Solid piping and piping design skills, including 3D modeling and layout development using tools such as Cadmatic or similar CAD/CAE software.

Knowledge of stress analysis for piping systems, including understanding of flexibility, supports, and code-based assessment.

Solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles, preferably with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.

Exposure to petroleum, oil and gas, or related process industries, with familiarity in relevant standards and safety practices.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs;, equipment layouts, and technical specifications.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and support project coordination.

Attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and a structured approach to design, documentation, and quality assurance.

Previous experience in industrial plant design, outfitting, or EPC environments is an advantage.
