We are seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Engineer with hands-on experience in SolidCAM to develop CNC programs, optimize machining processes, and support production for precision components. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and optimize CNC machining programs using SolidCAM.

- Develop 2D and 3D toolpaths for milling and turning operations.

- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and 3D CAD models.

- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies.

- Conduct simulation and verification of CNC programs before production.

- Support CNC machine setup and troubleshoot machining issues.

- Optimize cycle times while maintaining product quality.

- Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth manufacturing.

- Maintain program documentation and revision records.

- Continuously improve machining processes for productivity and cost reduction.





Required Qualifications

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- 0- 5years of experience in CAD/CAM programming.

- Hands-on experience with SolidCAM is mandatory.

- Good understanding of CNC Milling, Turning, and machining operations.

- Knowledge of CNC controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Haas is preferred.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T; principles.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis machining.

- Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining parameters.

- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
