Role & responsibilities

- Corporate Tax Compliance:
- Manage end-to-end corporate tax compliance and computations for large domestic companies and multinational clients.
- Prepare and review complex corporate tax returns (ITR-6) and related disclosures.
- Formulate deferred tax and current tax provisions under Ind AS 12 / IFRS.
- Withholding Tax & International Tax:
- Oversee domestic withholding tax (TDS) compliance and complex quarterly filing obligations.
- Evaluate cross-border transactions for withholding tax implications under Section 195.
- Analyze Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA) for foreign remittances.
- Issue Form 145 (15CA) and Form 146 (15CB) certifications for international payments.
- Tax Audits & Transfer Pricing Support:
- Lead comprehensive tax audits under Section 44AB for large corporate clients.
- Prepare detailed Form 3CD reports and cross-verify accounting data against tax laws.
- Support the transfer pricing team with Form 3CEB documentation and benchmarking studies.
- Litigation & Representation:




- Draft high-quality technical submissions and replies to complex income tax notices.
- Assist in faceless assessment proceedings, appeals (CIT-A/ITAT), and rectification matters.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Chartered Accountant (ICAI). Additional relevant certifications of ICAI in direct taxes would be preferred.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of dedicated experience in Corporate Tax / International Tax, preferably in medium to large CA firms.

- Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of the Income Tax Act, DTAA provisions, and Ind AS 12.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle for data extraction.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, power BI and utility tools, for managing large financial datasets.

- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for interaction with multinational CFOs and tax heads.
- Robust project management capabilities to handle multiple large corporate clients simultaneously.
