Job Summary
As the Salesforce System Administrator, your impact directly drives the operational continuity, revenue velocity, and data integrity of our entire Go-To-Market ecosystem. Serving as the operational guardian of Salesforce as our central system of record, you own day-to-day execution and platform health across Lead to Opportunity (L2O), Quote to Cash (Q2C), and Post Sale Delivery (PSD). Far beyond standard ticket processing, you set the organization's benchmark for configuration quality, proactive stakeholder communication, and architectural governance-ensuring that rapid business responsiveness never introduces technical debt or compromises platform stability.
By actively assessing cross-portfolio dependencies, eliminating recurring operational friction, and elevating case patterns into structured platform improvements, you directly protect user productivity, strengthen revenue operations, and build lasting operational trust across the enterprise.
What You'll Do
- Provide global day-to-day end-user support (including system configuration, complex formulas and system maintenance) and assist users with proactive best practices to enhance and increase their knowledge of Salesforce.com
- Design and implement solutions (using industry standard best practices) with functions in the organization that utilize and access Salesforce.com
- Design, document, build, test and deploy enhancements to Salesforce custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts, reports and complex dashboards within Salesforce
- Understand and analyze business objectives and functional requirements into technical Salesforce solutions that account for integrations and other downstream impacts
- Quickly identify business risks, inefficiencies, issues, and opportunities related to Salesforce
- Train and support internal user base of 2000+ licenses
- Ensure adherence to Coupa's IT guidelines, standards, methodologies and frameworks
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
- Understanding of Salesforce.com best practices
- Experience responding to production support requests and troubleshooting issues
- Excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and a record of exceeding customer expectations
- Solid project management and documentation skills, with the ability to effortlessly multi-task while ensuring timely delivery of projects and, more importantly, valuable business results
- Technical proficiency in custom objects, validation rules, workflow rules, process builder, reporting, dashboards, assignment rules, email2case, and advanced formula fields
- Proven experience with business process optimization
- Strong accountability, teamwork, and initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certified SFDC App Builder or Administrator required
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud and Communities a plus
- Experience with Visual Workflow and Salesforce Lightning a plus
