Candidate profile (title) Who you are Candidate profile (text) - Default language • University degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years of equivalent skilled experience.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, health, safety, and security legislation and best practices.
- Experience in implementing risk and compliance frameworks, policies, and governance processes.
- Good understanding of business operations, risk assessment, and compliance management.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions and leadership levels.
- Experience in conducting investigations, analysing business risks, and implementing preventive actions.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with integrity and professionalism.
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Passion for creating a safe, compliant, and healthy working environment while promoting IKEA values and culture.
- Knowledge of risk & compliance, health & safety, and security laws and regulations.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
- Experience in business risk, compliance, health & safety,
security, or a related function is an advantage.

Key responsibilities (title) Your responsibilities Key responsibilities (text) • Lead the Business Risk & Compliance agenda within the unit by promoting a proactive risk-aware culture.
- Ensure compliance with Ingka policies, internal rules, and local legal requirements related to health, safety, security, and risk management.
- Partner with business leaders to identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Conduct internal investigations and compliance reviews while recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and deliver risk, compliance, health, safety, and security training for co-workers and external partners.
- Drive initiatives to reduce business loss, prevent incidents, and strengthen operational resilience.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory and authority-related risk and compliance matters.
- Coordinate the Unit Crisis Management Team and ensure emergency response plans, training, and crisis preparedness are effectively maintained.
- Monitor compliance controls, risk mitigation plans, and key performance indicators to improve business performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Business Risk & Compliance team, building capabilities and supporting succession planning.
- Collaborate with country and cross-functional stakeholders to implement the Business Risk & Compliance strategy and continuously improve risk management practices.
