Job DescriptionAbout the Role

NRepublic Business is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Video Producer to join its newsroom team. The ideal candidate will have strong editorial judgment, hands-on experience in non-linear production, and a solid understanding of live news production & PCR workflows. The candidate must have worked in a business channel handling Business news operations.

The candidate should also possess working knowledge of PCR operations to effectively coordinate between editorial teams during live broadcasts.

NKey Responsibilities:

N Curate news packages, explainers, special reports, promos, and breaking news content in a fast-paced newsroom environment

NProduce compelling visual stories by integrating video, graphics, sound bites, and newsroom assets

N Coordinate with reporters, anchors, output teams, graphics, and PCR personnel to ensure seamless execution of news bulletins and special programming

NEnsure editorial accuracy, visual quality, and adherence to broadcast standards





N Handle quick-turnaroundedits during breaking news situations while maintaining high production quality

NSupport live productionrequirements by understanding rundown structures, cueing, timing, and newsroom workflows

N Assist in packaging business, markets, economy, and corporate news content in an engaging and viewer-friendly format

NRequired Skills & Qualification:

NBachelor's degree in journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.

N 3–5 years of experiencein television news production, preferably in a business Channel or financial news setting.

NWorking knowledge of PCR operations, rundown management, timing, and live show coordination.

N Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a 24x7 Business news environment.

NExcellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skill

NPreferred Qualifications:

N Prior experience in business, finance, markets, or economic news production.

NExposure to live television news production.
