About iklo iklo is a technology-enabled, on-demand childcare platform built to embed trusted care wherever life happens — malls, hospitals, hotels, tech parks, and events. Our flagship offering, iklo Nest, sets up professionally staffed childcare spaces inside high-footfall venues, letting parents drop in their child for anywhere from 10 minutes to a full day, with real-time visibility through our app. We're an early-stage, fast-moving team building what we believe will become India's most trusted childcare ecosystem.

Role Overview

We're looking for an Operations Manager to initially own and then oversee the day-to-day running of iklo Nest locations — from staffing and safety compliance to partner relationships with the malls, hospitals, and hotels that host us. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role: you'll be the person ensuring that every child at every location gets the same standard of care, no matter how small or short the booking.

Key Responsibilities

- Run daily center operations - ratios, hygiene, and safety SOPs, including opening/closing checklists and nap-time and emergency protocols.
- Hire, onboard, and shadow-train caregivers, and build shift rosters with coverage for last-minute bookings and drills.
- Run safety, hygiene, staffing, and brand audits, and own corrective action plans and compliance documentation.
- Own partner relationships with malls, hospitals,



and hotels — including revenue-share tracking, renewals, and new site scouting/fit-out.
- Ensure consistent app usage for check-in, logging, and attendance, and own monthly reporting and core KPIs.
- Staff and manage event-based childcare, surge periods, and flexible on-demand bookings.

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in operations management — ideally in childcare, hospitality, retail, facilities, or another multi-location service business.
- Experience managing frontline staff and enforcing SOPs/compliance standards in a hands-on, on-the-ground way.
- Comfortable working with app-based/tech-enabled tools for booking, attendance, and reporting.
- Strong communication skills - you'll be the face of iklo to mall, hospital, and hotel partner teams.
- High ownership mindset and comfort with ambiguity - this is an early-stage company, and things change quick.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; background in early childhood education, hospitality management, or business administration is a plus

Nice to Have
- Prior experience in childcare, preschool, or family-services businesses.
- Experience managing vendor or facility relationships inside malls, hospitals, or hotels.
- Exposure to multi-site or franchise-style operations.
