Key Responsibilities

1.

Channel Partner

Development

- Identify, approach, and onboard new admission channel partners across assigned territories.

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with education consultants and admission agencies.

- Negotiate partnership terms and execute collaboration agreements.

- Conduct regular partner meetings and ensure active lead generation.

- Train channel partners on university programs, scholarships, admission process, eligibility criteria, and unique selling propositions.

2.

Coaching

Institute &

- Institutional Outreach

- Identify and establish relationships with coaching institutes, schools, colleges, and career counselling organizations.

- Conduct regular institutional visits to promote Ganpat University Goa Campus.

- Organize seminars, workshops, and career guidance sessions.

- Develop institutional tie-ups for continuous student referrals.

3.

Student

Counselling &

- Admissions

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding suitable UG and PG programs.

- Explain course structure, industry collaborations, scholarships, fee structure, placements, hostel facilities, and career opportunities.

- Guide students through the complete admission process from enquiry to enrolment.

- Assist applicants in document verification, application submission, fee payment, and admission formalities.

- Follow up regularly with prospective students to maximize conversions.

- Convert enquiries into confirmed admissions and achieve assigned admission targets.

4. Presentations &

- Career Counselling

- Deliver skilled presentations at coaching institutes, schools, colleges, and educational organizations.

- Represent Ganpat University Goa Campus at career counselling sessions and educational seminars.





- Conduct awareness sessions highlighting the university's academic offerings and industry collaborations.

- Address student and parent queries confidently and professionally.

5.

Education Fairs &

- Outreach Events

- Identify, plan, and participate in education fairs, admission expos, career guidance events, and counselling programs.

- Coordinate with event organizers for university participation.

- Generate quality admission leads through exhibitions and promotional activities.

- Represent the university professionally at all external events.

6. Lead Generation &

- Business Development

- Generate admission enquiries through institutional visits, networking, seminars, digital campaigns, and referrals.

- Develop new business opportunities to increase student enrolment.

- Expand the university's presence in assigned territories.

- Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective students.

7.

Relationship

Management

- Maintain excellent relationships with channel partners, coaching institute owners, principals, counsellors, and educational consultants.

- Ensure regular engagement through visits, training sessions, and review meetings.

- Resolve partner and student concerns promptly.

8.

Market

Intelligence

- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging admission trends.

- Monitor competitor institutions, admission campaigns, scholarships, and pricing.

- Share market insights and recommendations with management.

9. Reporting &

- Documentation





- Maintain accurate records of meetings, presentations, counselling sessions, enquiries, and admissions.

- Update CRM with all lead and partner information.

- Submit Daily Visit Reports (DVR), Weekly Reports, and Monthly Performance Reports.

- Track enquiry-to-admission conversion ratios and partner performance.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or any relevant discipline.

- MBA or equivalent qualification will be preferred.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, Educational Sales, Admissions, Channel Sales, or Higher Education Marketing.

- Experience in student counselling and admission conversion will be an added advantage.

Skills Required

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Strong counselling and interpersonal skills.

- Sales, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.

- Public speaking and seminar delivery.

- Strong follow-up and conversion skills.

- CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency.

- Target-oriented with the ability to work independently.

- Willingness to travel extensively.

Travel Requirement

- Extensive travel across Goa, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and other assigned territories.

- Availability to work on weekends during admission campaigns, education fairs, and counselling events.

Performance Expectation The Business Development Executive will be responsible not only for generating admission enquiries but also for personally counselling prospective students, converting leads into confirmed admissions, and consistently achieving the assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual admission targets through channel partners, coaching institutes, educational events, and direct student engagement.
