Victor Solar Power Tech System is looking for an ambitious, technically sound and target-driven Business Development Manager to join our team

Experience: Prior experience in the solar industry is required

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Kolkata

- The candidate will identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar power sector, including prospecting, lead generation, and nurturing potential clients through the sales cycle
- Conducting market research, presenting solutions to customers, preparing proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover
- Managing key accounts, maintaining strong client relationships, and regularly following up to support customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Track sales performance, report on pipeline activities, and contribute to strategic planning to help grow the company’s presence in the region

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in Business Development, Lead Generation and Sales Closure to identify, qualify, and convert prospects into long-term customers

- Prior experience in solar energy, renewable energy, or technical sales is mandatory




- Robust knowledge of Business and Account Management skills to manage client portfolios, negotiate deals, and support ongoing customer relationships

- Excellent Communication skills to engage with clients, present proposals, and collaborate effectively with internal teams
- Fluent in English, Hindi and Bengali
- Comfortable to work on-site in a field-oriented role, including client visits and site meetings around Kolkata/Bengal

- Strong organizational, negotiation, and basic financial analysis skills to support pricing and profitability decisions
