Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for driving growth and expanding VA’s client base and project portfolio. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in architecture, urban design, and interiors, managing client relationships, and collaborating with internal design teams to align proposals with client needs.

Day-to-day tasks include market research, lead generation, preparation of pitches and proposals, coordination of presentations and client meetings,



and participation in industry events and networking activities.

The Business Development

Manager will also support brand positioning, assist with marketing collateral, and maintain a structured pipeline and reporting process to track opportunities and conversion rates.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in business development, client relationship management, and strategic account growth.
- Experience with market research, lead generation, and opportunity analysis in professional services or design-led industries.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey design value to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, designers, and project managers.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, productivity software, and basic data analysis for pipeline and performance tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- Prior experience in architecture, real estate, construction, or design consultancy business development is highly beneficial.
- Proactive work style, strong organizational skills, and capability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
