Role Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Specialist – Business Continuity Management (BCM) & Crisis Management to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the organization's Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) while strengthening our Emergency Response and Crisis Management capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in business continuity, disaster recovery, emergency preparedness, and crisis management, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams to enhance organizational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Business Continuity Management (BCM)

- Design, implement, and continuously improve the organization's Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in alignment with ISO 22301 and industry best practices.
- Lead Business Impact Analysis (BIA) initiatives across business functions to identify critical processes, dependencies, and recovery requirements.
- Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments to evaluate threats affecting business operations, facilities, technology, and third-party services.
- Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to embed business continuity and resilience into strategic initiatives.
- Lead and support the development and implementation of IT Disaster Recovery (Infrastructure & Applications) plans.
- Review and validate Disaster Recovery (DR) plans to ensure alignment with business recovery priorities.
- Plan and facilitate BCM exercises, including:

- Tabletop exercises

- Walkthroughs

- Failover and parallel testing
- Scenario-based recovery simulations
- Develop and deliver BCM awareness and training programs across the organization.
- Monitor emerging risks, regulatory updates, and industry trends to maintain an effective and compliant BCMS.
- Support internal and external audits, including:

- ISO 22301 Certification Audits

- ISO 27001 Reviews





- Customer and Client Assessments
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve BCM, risk assessment, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Crisis Management & Emergency Response
- Develop, implement, and maintain Crisis Management and Emergency Response frameworks.
- Support the Crisis Management Team (CMT) during incidents by coordinating response activities and managing escalation processes.
- Design and conduct crisis simulations, emergency response drills, and CMT activation exercises.
- Collaborate with Emergency Response Teams (ERTs) and regional/site leaders to ensure organizational preparedness across locations.
- Ensure emergency procedures comply with regulatory requirements, life safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and incorporate lessons learned into continuity and crisis plans.
- Work with key vendors and third-party partners to ensure appropriate crisis response capabilities and participation in testing exercises.
- Coordinate with local authorities, emergency services, and government agencies as part of emergency preparedness initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8–10 years of experience in Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery, or Organizational Resilience.
- Robust experience managing enterprise BCM programs and cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience conducting:

- Business Impact Analysis (BIA)

- Risk Assessments

- Disaster Recovery Planning

- Crisis Management Exercises
- Experience working with BCM platforms/tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.
- Experience leveraging automation tools to improve BCM, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management processes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to organizational sites as required.
