Role Description The Busduct Design Manager will lead the design and engineering of busduct systems for DATA center projects, ensuring technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with relevant standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing project specifications, preparing busduct layouts and single-line diagrams, performing load calculations, and coordinating with sales, project, and installation teams to finalize solutions.

The role involves managing design approvals, supporting tender and estimation activities, and addressing technical queries from clients, consultants, and site teams.

Manager will also oversee design documentation, maintain design standards,



and support continuous improvement of design processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Robust busduct design and electrical engineering skills, including load calculations, layout design, and understanding of power distribution systems.
- Proficiency in design and drafting tools (e.g., REVIT - BIM - AutoCAD or similar CAD software) and ability to prepare detailed drawings and technical documents.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and codes (such as IEC/IS standards) and good understanding of safety and compliance requirements.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, including sales, projects, and site execution, and managing client and consultant interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with prior experience in busduct, switchgear, or power distribution design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to prepare clear technical proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Experience in the Mumbai market or similar urban/industrial environment is an advantage; prior work with Legrand or other leading electrical brands is a plus.
