Role Description The Burger Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking buff smash burgers and related menu items to established recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mangaluru and involves setting up workstations, prepping ingredients, grilling patties, assembling burgers, and ensuring timely service during peak hours.

The Burger

Chef maintains cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, follows food safety guidelines, and supports inventory management by properly storing ingredients and reporting low stock. The role also includes coordinating with front-of-house staff, adapting to special requests,



and helping with menu improvements or new burger concepts when needed.

Qualifications

- Ability to prepare and cook burgers and other menu items consistently, following recipes and presentation standards.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations, including food prep, grilling, and safe handling and storage of ingredients.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, including maintaining a clean workstation and proper sanitation.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen and service staff.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude toward learning and following standard operating procedures.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided.
- Willingness to work on-site full time in Mangaluru, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
