Role Description The Bunker Trading Intern will support the trading team in daily marine fuel procurement and commercial activities for global shipping clients. This full-time, in office role in Mumbai involves assisting with market research, tracking bunker prices and trends, and preparing reports and summaries for internal and client use. The intern will help with coordinating quotations, updating internal systems, and maintaining accurate records of inquiries, offers, and deals.

Responsibilities also include communicating with internal stakeholders,



supporting documentation and compliance processes, and contributing to process improvements within the trading workflow. The role is designed to provide exposure to bunker trading operations, maritime commerce, and commercial decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and pricing information.
- Solid research and documentation skills, including data gathering, validation, and report preparation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with trading or CRM systems is an advantage.
- Demonstrated interest in maritime, energy, commodities, or international trade sectors.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a time-sensitive environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and willingness to learn from experienced professionals in bunker trading.
