Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Automotive Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Android Automotive OS (AAOS), AOSP, BSP development, Android Framework, Native C/C++ development, HAL integration, Embedded Linux, and Automotive Virtualization.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, integrating, and optimizing Android Automotive software stacks on embedded automotive platforms. The candidate should have solid exposure to SoC bring-up, Linux kernel, device drivers, Android HAL, hypervisor-based virtualization, and platform-level debugging.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Android Automotive OS (AAOS) platform components.
- Perform AOSP customization, Android framework modifications, and platform integration.
- Design and implement Android native libraries and system components using C/C++.
- Develop, integrate, and modify Android HAL components for automotive peripherals and vehicle interfaces.
- Perform BSP development, board bring-up, debugging, and optimization on automotive SoCs.
- Collaborate with chipset vendors and hardware teams for platform enablement and hardware integration.
- Integrate and optimize Linux kernel modules, device drivers, middleware components, and system services.
- Implement and maintain automotive virtualization solutions using hypervisors.
- Configure and integrate guest operating systems in multi-OS automotive environments.
- Analyze and resolve platform issues related to:
- Boot performance
- Memory utilization
- Power optimization
- System stability
- Runtime performance
- Perform debugging using Android and Linux debugging tools.
- Work closely with application, framework, kernel,
validation, and hardware teams for end-to-end feature delivery.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical mentoring activities.
Required Technical Skills Android Automotive OS / AOSP
- Strong hands-on experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and AOSP development.

BSP & Embedded Linux
- Strong experience in:
- BSP development
- Board bring-up
- Embedded Linux platform development

- Linux kernel configuration and customization
- Device Tree development
- Driver integration and debugging
- Kernel modules
- Bootloader customization (U-Boot preferred)
- Knowledge of Linux system programming concepts.
Hypervisor & Virtualization
- Experience with automotive virtualization platforms such as:
- QNX Hypervisor
- Jailhouse
- Xen
- ACRN
- Other automotive-grade hypervisors
- Understanding of
- Virtual machine concepts
- Guest OS integration
- CPU/memory resource partitioning
