Role Description The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all branch operations, business development, and team management at the Auraiya branch. This full-time, on-site role includes supervising loan origination and disbursement processes, monitoring portfolio quality, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

The Branch

Manager will lead and mentor branch staff, set performance targets, and conduct regular reviews to drive growth and maintain service quality. Daily activities involve customer engagement,



community outreach, and relationship management to expand the client base and deepen existing customer relationships. The role also includes managing cash operations, maintaining accurate records, preparing MIS reports, and coordinating with regional and head office teams to ensure smooth branch functioning.

Qualifications Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop branch staff.

Proficiency in branch operations, credit processes, and portfolio management within microfinance or banking.

Solid customer service and relationship management capabilities, including community outreach and client engagement.

Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.

Working knowledge of basic computer applications and digital tools used in financial services operations.

Relevant experience in microfinance, NBFCs, or banking, preferably in rural or semi-urban markets.

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; higher qualifications are an advantage.

Ability to work in office in Auraiya, travel locally as required, and communicate effectively in English and local languages.

Demonstrated integrity, ethical conduct, and commitment to financial inclusion and community development.
