Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for BIM MEP and Electrical Modelers. The role involves developing detailed BIM models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in coordination with architectural and structural designs.

Day-to-day tasks include interpreting construction drawings, modeling MEP and electrical components, updating models based on design changes, and ensuring alignment with project standards and client requirements. The modeler will collaborate with project engineers, architects,



and other stakeholders to resolve coordination issues and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities also include preparing model extracts, supporting clash detection, and contributing to quality checks on deliverables.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Modeler workflows for construction projects.
- Candidates should possess foundational understanding of Architecture and its relationship to MEP and electrical system layouts.
- Candidates should possess applied knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their representation in models.
- Candidates should possess the ability to read, interpret, and generate accurate Construction Drawings from BIM models.
- Proficiency with relevant BIM software (such as Autodesk Revit or similar tools) is highly beneficial.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines, and effective communication skills are required.
- Experience working on building or infrastructure projects and familiarity with industry standards and codes is an advantage.
