Job Summary

We are seeking a BIM Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience and strong expertise in Mechanical BIM modelling, Revit MEP, and HVAC systems . The candidate must have hands-on experience in Chilled Water (CHW) piping modelling and coordination , along with knowledge of HVAC layouts, equipment, and associated mechanical services.

The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed mechanical BIM models, preparing coordinated shop drawings, identifying and resolving clashes, and supporting project teams in delivering accurate and coordinated BIM deliverables. Experience in Data Center projects will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and manage detailed Mechanical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP .

· Create accurate HVAC and chilled water system models based on design drawings and project requirements.

· Hands-on modelling of Chilled Water (CHW) piping , including supply and return piping, fittings, valves, supports, and connections.

· Model HVAC equipment such as Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Pumps, Cooling Towers, and associated equipment .

· Develop and coordinate CHW piping layouts, equipment connections, and service routes .

· Prepare detailed Mechanical shop drawings from BIM models.

· Perform coordination of Mechanical services with Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Architectural, and Structural disciplines .

· Identify and resolve clashes using Navisworks and other coordination tools.

· Review model accuracy, levels, dimensions, clearances, and service routing.

· Extract plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules from Revit models.

· Incorporate design revisions, RFI changes, and site inputs into BIM models.

· Assist in preparation and updating of as-built BIM models and drawings .





· Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support the project team in resolving technical issues.

· Ensure models and drawings comply with project standards, BIM requirements, and client specifications .

· Maintain model quality and ensure timely submission of project deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

· 2-4 years of experience in Mechanical BIM / MEPF projects.

· Strong hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP .

· Mandatory experience in Chilled Water (CHW) piping modelling and coordination.

· Good understanding of HVAC systems and chilled water systems .

· Knowledge of CHW supply & return piping, valves, fittings, equipment connections, and routing.

· Positive understanding of AHU, FCU, Chiller, Pump, Cooling Tower , and related HVAC equipment.

· Experience in preparing Mechanical shop drawings .

· Working knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination .

· Ability to read and interpret Mechanical/HVAC drawings, layouts, sections, and specifications .

· Good understanding of service clearances and coordination requirements.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate models within project timelines.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in Data Center projects is highly preferred.

· Experience with large-scale HVAC and chilled water systems .

· Knowledge of BIM standards, modelling practices, and project workflows.

· Experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination.

· Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.

· Experience with Navisworks Manage and advanced clash coordination will be an advantage.
