A Billing Executive is responsible for managing invoicing, maintaining accurate billing records, coordinating with sales and logistics teams, and ensuring timely and error-free billing for all distributor transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and process customer invoices, credit notes, and debit notes
- Verify order details, pricing, discounts, and tax calculations (e.g., GST)
- Coordinate with the sales team and warehouse to ensure accurate dispatch and billing
- Maintain billing records and update them in ERP/accounting systems (SAP)
- Handle billing discrepancies and resolve customer queries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal reviews
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of billing procedures and taxation (GST)
