Role Description The Billing and Estimation Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The role involves preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), performing project cost estimations, and coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely billing. The engineer will review drawings and specifications, analyze material and labor requirements, and support tendering and bid preparation activities.

Day-to-day responsibilities include validating supplier quotations, monitoring cost variations, supporting negotiations with contractors and vendors, and maintaining up-to-date records of estimates and billing documentation. The role also requires continuous liaison with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure that estimates align with project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

Qualifications : Candidate must know Interior, Civil, Furniture Estimation, Cost, Rate analysis , Labour and machinery analysis, as per as DAR and market rate, which enables them to the estimation & billing works at a different stages of Civil,



Interior and Construction with efficiency and accuracy.

Minimum 4 years experience MANDATORY in position of billing engineer ( turnkey fitout company experience preferred ) Candidates should possess strong project estimation skills, including experience with BOQ preparation and cost analysis.

Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Civil Engineering and an understanding of construction processes and materials.

Candidates should possess effective negotiation skills for working with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Candidates should possess research skills to gather, analyze, and compare market rates, technical data, and industry benchmarks.

Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Proficiency in estimation and billing software, MS Excel, and general project documentation tools.

Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work with deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.

Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Prepare complete in office measurement sheet from on-site data & available drawings and ability to draw up the estimates required for projects.

Prepare bill of quantities & bills with rates as per currently prevalent.

Get the clear accounts statements certified from the client and maintain strict records





Do periodic QC of site works done and Prepare & process subcontractor bills by physical verification at site of the measurements

Cross tally of Contractor and the Company billing to ascertain no over-payment is made.

Check bills raised by the contractor. This includes in office verification of measurement & verification of rates with Tender.

To measure the site along with site engineer. and to process it as per the protocol of the company.

To follow up on the accounts department for payment along with proper and frequent review of bills of quantities and item lists.

Value engineering to achieve functionality, safety, speed of security, and quality at lower costs by evaluating different options.

Checking and certification of bills and invoices from vendors, contractors.

Construction supervision of civil interior works at the site, including safety, quality, and safety schedule.

Analysis of variation claims by contractors /vendors and closing of the same.

Contracts Administration and enforcement at the site. Coordination with own team to ensure smooth execution and handover of detailed information.

Prepare Preliminary Estimates at proposal stages.

Prepare Detailed

Bill of Quantities/Pre-tender estimates.

To support PM in billing & generating cost-related reports and documentation. Checking measurements. Quantity estimation. Bill certification

Compile Tender Documents based on the requirements of the project.

Pre-qualification of Vendors. Prepare detailed Comparative Statements.

Inspection and Verification of Works Measurements & processing the invoice as per terms and contracts.

Rate Analysis, Bill Estimation, Costing, Preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ)

Preparation of Certifications.

Preparing reconciliation statements.
