Role Description The Bill of Materials (BOM) Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the creation, verification, and maintenance of accurate bills of materials for interior projects. This full-time, in office role based in Gurugram involves coordinating with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure material specifications, quantities, and costs are correct and aligned with project requirements.

The BOM Team Leader reviews drawings and design documents, validates material lists, and updates records throughout the project lifecycle. The role includes monitoring inventory needs, identifying discrepancies or cost-saving opportunities, and implementing standardized BOM processes and best practices.



The individual also mentors team members, assigns tasks, and ensures timely delivery of BOMs to support smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Bill of Materials management, including material listing, quantity estimation, and cost tracking.
- Experience working with interior design or construction drawings and specifications, with the ability to interpret technical documents accurately.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as Excel, ERP systems, or project management platforms used for BOM and inventory control.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience guiding a small team, delegating tasks, and reviewing work for accuracy and completeness.
- Solid organizational and analytical abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on process improvement and standardization.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working closely with design, procurement, and site execution teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; equivalent experience in BOM or project coordination will also be considered.
- Experience in interior fit-out, home construction, or furniture manufacturing is highly desirable.
