Role Description The Bakery Help role is a full-time, on-site position based in South Goa.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily donut preparation, measuring and mixing ingredients, glazing and decorating products, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas. The role also involves stocking supplies, organizing displays, and supporting the baking team during peak hours. Depending on the shift, the Bakery Help may assist with opening or closing tasks and provide basic customer service, such as answering product questions and helping with packaging orders.

Qualifications





- Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene, with the ability to follow safety and cleanliness standards in a bakery workplace.
- Attention to detail in measuring ingredients, decorating donuts, and maintaining product consistency and presentation.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to support efficient baking, preparation, and restocking throughout the day.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with bakers and front-of-house staff.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift light to moderate loads, and work early mornings or flexible shifts as needed.
- Prior experience in a bakery, café, or food service environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and uphold The Donut Affair’s standards for quality and customer experience.
