Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.

- Build and optimize distributed systems to handle large-scale workloads with reliability and efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver backend solutions.
- Manage and improve cloud infrastructure to support production environments.
- Ensure system scalability, availability, and performance through best engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions for system stability and reliability.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and continuously improve backend engineering standards.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for optimization.

Requirements

- Strong backend engineering experience with hands-on expertise in building scalable applications and services.
- Prior experience working with at least one cloud platform such as GCP, Azure, Digital Ocean, or AWS.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and reliability engineering.
- Experience with infrastructure management and operating production systems at scale.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs / backend architecture / microservices.
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and performance optimization.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong understanding of system design and backend best practices.
- Experience in Networking, databases, File system, AWS, Elasticsearch, Oracle cloud, Snowflake, databricks, and Database analytics.
