Job Title: Backend Developer – Associate / Fresher (Python, Flask, Pandas, Supabase(PostgreSQL))

Role Overview

We are looking for an Associate Backend Developer to join our team at Irossa Technologies Pvt. Ltd. This role is ideal for recent graduates or aspiring developers who want to start their career in backend development.

You will support the development of Flask-based APIs, assist in data processing using Pandas, and work with Supabase and PostgreSQL databases . This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building scalable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs using Python and Flask

- Support backend architecture following best practices such as Flask App Factory and Blueprints

- Perform data manipulation using Pandas

- Work with PostgreSQL databases and Supabase

- Assist in implementing secure authentication using Supabase Auth and JWT

- Support backend performance optimization and caching using Redis.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

- Participate in testing and debugging using tools like pytest

- Candidate must demonstrate commitment to learning and professional growth.

- Candidate should maintain confidentiality of company data and projects.

- Regular performance reviews and feedback sessions may be conducted during probation.

Requirements

Technical Skills

- Strong fundamentals in Python (classes, functions, data structures)

- Basic understanding of Flask or similar web frameworks





- Fundamental knowledge of Pandas and data manipulation

- Basic knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL

- Willingness to learn Supabase ecosystem

- Basic understanding of Git version control

Preferred Skills

- Academic or personal projects related to the web applications or backend development.

- Experience with Git workflows (branches, commits, pull requests)

- Exposure to cloud deployment platforms (Render)

- Interest in understanding backend architecture and performance optimization

Candidate Evaluation Process

- Two rounds of interviews will be conducted:
- Technical Interview (Virtual) – To assess technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and practical understanding.

- Managerial Interview (Face-to-Face) – To evaluate communication skills, attitude, teamwork, and overall suitability for the role.

- Selection & Probation Period

- Once selected and joined, the candidate will undergo a 6-month probation period.

- During this period, the candidate’s technical performance, learning ability, discipline, and teamwork will be evaluated.

- If performance is not satisfactory, the company reserves the right to release the candidate during the probation period.

- Based on performance, the probation period may be extended if required.

- Confirmation of Employment

- After successful completion of the probation period, the candidate will be confirmed as a full-time employee of the company.

- Service Agreement

- The selected candidate will be required to sign an 18-month service bond with the company.​
