Medyzen is building medicine delivery infrastructure for India’s smaller cities, where access to reliable pharmacies is limited. We partner with hospitals and clinics to embed medicine-ordering infrastructure directly inside their facilities and fulfil orders through nearby Medyzen stores.

Role Description

As a Back End Developer at Medyzen , you will design, build, and maintain the backend systems powering our hospital, warehouse, administration, and patient-facing products.

You will work on Go, PostgreSQL, GORM, REST APIs, ordering, fulfilment, procurement, payments, and identity systems . You will own projects end-to-end — from HLD/LLD and implementation to testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.

This is an ownership-driven role where reliability, security, scalability, and data correctness are critical.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of hands-on backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Go
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL — schema design, indexing, query optimisation,



transactions & isolation
- Experience with GORM or equivalent ORM , including raw SQL
- Strong understanding of REST API design
- Experience with concurrency, locking and race conditions
- Authentication, authorisation and application security fundamentals
- Git, Docker and CI/CD
- Strong CS fundamentals — DSA, OS and networking
- Experience with HLD & LLD and designing scalable systems
- Startup/production experience with end-to-end ownership
- Comfortable with code reviews and transparent written communication
