Position: AWS Solutions Architect

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to design, architect, and implement secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in AWS architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud migration, networking, and security, while collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure AWS cloud architectures.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solution designs.
- Assess existing infrastructure and develop cloud migration and modernization strategies.
- Architect and deploy AWS solutions using services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Route 53, Lambda, CloudFront, Auto Scaling, and Elastic Load Balancer.
- Build and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Develop architecture diagrams, solution design documents, deployment guides, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment.
- Design secure AWS environments using IAM, Security Groups, VPC, VPN, encryption, and AWS security best practices.
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and AWS best practices across project teams.

Must-Have Skills:

- 5+ years of overall IT experience with at least 2–3 years designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services:
- EC2




- VPC
- S3
- RDS
- Route 53
- Lambda
- CloudFront
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant AWS architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, NAT Gateway, VPN, and Load Balancers.
- Experience implementing AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and access management.
- Experience in cloud migration and infrastructure modernization projects.
- Scripting experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working directly with clients or business teams.

Preferred Skills:

- Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS)
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Cost optimization using AWS Cost Explorer or Trusted Advisor
- Experience with multi-account AWS environments and AWS Organizations
- Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Serverless architecture experience
- DevOps and automation experience

Certifications Preferred:

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate has proven experience designing and delivering production-grade AWS solutions, rather than only administering cloud infrastructure. They can confidently lead architecture discussions, recommend AWS services based on business requirements, automate infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation, and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud environments while collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
