About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Vice President to lead and strengthen our Market Surveillance framework, specifically focusing on Fixed Income and related derivative products. You will monitor trading activity, mitigate market abuse risks, and provide expert compliance advisory to internal stakeholders and front-office teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Market Monitoring & Investigations: Continuously monitor order flows, pricing, and communications; conduct in-depth investigations into potential insider trading, spoofing, wash trading, and market manipulation.
- Risk Assessment & Analytics: Lead Market Abuse Risk Assessments (MARA), optimize surveillance detection models, and ensure high data quality and model effectiveness.
- Regulatory & Audit Support: Handle regulatory queries (FCA, ESMA, SEC, CFTC), support internal/external audits, and manage timely reporting to senior leadership.
- Advisory & Governance: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)



on global market abuse regulations, advising business units and maintaining internal surveillance controls and policies.
- Leadership: Drive team strategy, manage processes, and coach junior team members while upholding solid risk governance.

Key Requirements

- Domain Expertise: 8–10 years in Market Surveillance / Compliance Advisory within Investment Banking.
- Product Knowledge: Deep expertise in Cash Fixed Income (Bonds) and Fixed Income Derivatives (IRS, CDS, Futures, Options).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of global market abuse regimes (MAR, MiFID II, etc.).
- Technical & Platform Skills: Hands-on experience with surveillance tools (SMARTS, NICE Actimize, etc.) and trade execution platforms (Tradeweb, Bloomberg FIT).
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to influence senior management and guide cross-functional teams.
