Job Title: Automation Test Engineer (UFT/QTP)

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in UFT/QTP Automation and VB Scripting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation framework development, regression testing, SQL, and Agile methodologies. Banking or Investment Banking domain experience is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze requirements and prepare automation test scenarios.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute UFT/QTP automation scripts.
- Build and maintain Keyword, Data-Driven, or Hybrid automation frameworks.
- Execute regression test suites and report defects.
- Identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage.
- Perform script maintenance and optimization for BAU releases.
- Conduct peer reviews of automation scripts and test execution.
- Prepare automation reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams.




- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support release activities.

Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in UFT/QTP Automation
- Solid VB Scripting
- UFT Automation Framework Development (Keyword/Data-Driven/Hybrid)
- Object Repository Management
- SQL / Oracle / Sybase Database
- Regression Testing
- Test Automation Design & Maintenance
- ALM or Jira
- Bitbucket
- Test Planning & Reporting

Good to Have
- CI/CD and DevOps exposure
- Agile methodology
- Manual Testing knowledge
- Investment Banking / BFSI domain experience

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent)
- 5.1-7 years of relevant Automation Testing experience
