Mandate skill - PAYMENTS/ POS Test Engineer:

- Experience in Testing Point of Sale (POS) including different types of transactions, Back Office Solutions (BOS), Interface/Integration
- Experience in Physical Card testing which includes Magstripe , EMV , Contactless on Physical Terminals.
- Experienced in EMV/Chip Card Transaction flows & Validation of E2E logs.
- Knowledge of PA-DSS compliance and EMV certifications
- Experience in Testing Electronic Card Payment Systems, B2B Cards, B2C Cards, Certification / Acquirer Certification / Accreditation Testing for Card Payment Solutions.
- Knowledge of Software Development models and testing
- Experience in ALM/HPQC is an advantage.
- Expertise in Test types and techniques
- Knowledge of Test management tool and defect management tool
- Execution of end-to-end test activities
- Experience of test management and co-ordination with different teams.
- Good to have: Good communication, Attitude to learn

Note: This position requires office presence and can't be done remotely.

Shift timing: 12PM to 9PM.

This role requires a deep understanding of both the business domain and the related package solution, as well as core and technical testing skills.

Key responsibilities include understanding business requirements, designing optimized test scenarios, planning testing activities, estimating work efforts, creating test cases, identifying test environment and test data requirements, executing test cases using automation and manual methods, reporting test status, addressing defects, and analyzing test outcomes for continuous improvement. This role demands solid analytical and cognitive abilities to optimize testing processes and deliver high-quality results.
