We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automation Manager to manage plant electrical systems, industrial automation, instrumentation, and maintenance activities. The candidate shall be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of production equipment, troubleshooting automation systems, and maintaining high equipment reliability with minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Manager Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain plant automation systems, including PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, VFDs, and industrial communication networks.

- Troubleshoot and optimize automation, control systems, sensors, transmitters, and field instrumentation to ensure maximum plant reliability.

- Lead automation projects, system upgrades, process optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.

- Develop, modify, and validate PLC/HMI/SCADA programs in line with operational requirements.

- Ensure timely calibration,



validation, and preventive maintenance of control and instrumentation systems.

- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and EHS teams to improve plant efficiency, productivity, and process reliability.

- Analyze automation-related breakdowns, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement permanent corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Ensure compliance with electrical, instrumentation, automation, and statutory safety standards.

- Maintain automation documentation, control logic backups, system drawings, SOPs, and maintenance records.

- Identify and implement opportunities for Industry 4.0, energy optimization, predictive maintenance, and continuous process improvement.
