About The Role We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team at Dhruv Technology Solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration with shopfloor equipment. This role is pivotal in enabling seamless data exchange between manufacturing hardware and enterprise platforms, facilitating real-time monitoring, control, and optimization of production processes.

The Automation

Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, IT, and digital transformation units, to implement robust integration solutions that support Industry 4.0 initiatives and IIoT deployments.

Qualifications The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering. Proven hands-on experience with PLC programming and industrial communication protocols is essential. Familiarity with MES systems, ISA-95 architecture, and SCADA platforms is required.

Candidates should also possess programming skills in Python, Java, or .NET, along with solid knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Industry certifications related to automation and industrial networking are advantageous.

Responsibilities Implement MES integration with shopfloor equipment, including PLCs, CNC machines, sensors, and vision systems to facilitate real-time data collection and control.





Configure and manage communication using industrial protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, and SECS/GEM standards.

Integrate MES with SCADA/HMI systems and enterprise platforms like ERP and databases to enable seamless data flow and operational transparency.

Develop APIs and middleware solutions to facilitate data acquisition, orchestration, and system interoperability.

Enable real-time production tracking, machine monitoring, and reporting to support decision-making and process optimization.

Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across hardware and software layers, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system reliability.

Ensure system scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards to support future expansion and technological upgrades.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify integration requirements, design solutions, and implement best practices in automation and data management.
