The company focuses on delivering accurate, production-ready shop drawings with typical turnaround times of 24–48 hours on most drawing sets. Grey Architects works to AWI and AWMAC standards, ensuring alignment with North American and UK market requirements while offering substantial cost savings compared with local drafting rates.

Every project is protected by NDAs, and services scale flexibly with client workloads without long-term contracts. Core services include millwork and casework shop drawings, cabinet elevations, custom joinery details, commercial and residential fit-out drawings, and revisions or as-built documentation.

Role Description The Autocad Drafter will be responsible for producing detailed, accurate millwork and casework shop drawings, including cabinet elevations, plans, sections, and custom joinery details. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural drawings and specifications, coordinating with project leads to clarify requirements, and preparing production-ready drawings that comply with AWI/AWMAC and client standards. The role involves revising drawings based on feedback, updating as-built documentation,



and maintaining organized drawing files and project records.

This is a full time, on-site role located in Gurugram, requiring close collaboration with the drafting team to meet tight deadlines and multiple international project schedules.

Qualifications

Strong technical drawing skills, with the ability to create precise and detailed plans using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

Experience preparing millwork and shop drawings, including casework, cabinetry, and custom joinery for production.

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documents, with an understanding of architecture and building terminology.

Familiarity with industry standards such as AWI and AWMAC, and best practices for commercial, hospitality, and residential fit-out drawings.

Diploma or degree in architecture, interior design, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in drafting.

Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines on multiple projects.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with team members and project managers in a fast-paced setting.

Prior experience in an architectural millwork or cabinetry drafting environment is highly beneficial.
