Role Description The Audit Executive will be responsible for executing audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting, under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing financial statements, testing internal controls, verifying supporting documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.

The role also involves preparing working papers, drafting observations, assisting in the preparation of audit reports, and communicating findings to senior auditors and clients.

The Audit

Executive will collaborate with colleagues to meet engagement timelines,



maintain organized audit files, and support continuous improvement in audit processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, documentation review, and preparation of audit working papers.
- Ability to understand and test internal controls, identify process gaps, and suggest practical improvements.
- Comfort with using accounting and office software (e.g., Excel, accounting packages, documentation tools).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to document findings and interact with clients and team members.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CA Intermediate or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area, and participate in periodic travel for client audits as needed.
