About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and ministry-minded Audio Engineer / Sound Technician to oversee audio operations for services, programmes, conferences, broadcasts, recordings, and special events.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality audio experiences for both in-person and online audiences while working closely with worship teams, musicians, presenters, event teams, and volunteers.

This role is ideal for someone who is technically confident, calm under pressure, and passionate about live sound, broadcast audio, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Live Sound & Event Production

- Operate Front of House (FOH) audio systems for services, programmes, conferences, and productions.
- Mix live bands, worship teams, choir teams, speakers, and presenters.
- Manage stage monitoring systems including wired and in-ear monitor setups.
- Handle audio requirements for both large-scale and small-scale events.
- Ensure consistent audio quality throughout all events.

Broadcast & Livestream Audio

- Manage audio feeds for livestreams, online broadcasts, recordings, and digital platforms.
- Support broadcast audio routing and livestream mixing workflows.
- Assist with recording and post-production audio requirements where required.

System Maintenance & Technical Support

- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot audio equipment.
- Maintain microphones, wireless systems, digital consoles, speakers, amplifiers, and signal processors.
- Ensure all systems are prepared and tested before every event.




- Train and support volunteers serving in technical production roles.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Diploma, Degree, or equivalent training in Audio Engineering, Sound Technology, Media Production, or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in live sound engineering, worship production, broadcast audio, event production, or related environments.
- Proven experience operating professional digital mixing consoles.
- Strong understanding of signal flow, gain structure, EQ, compression, monitoring systems, and feedback management.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot audio issues in live-event environments.

Compensation

- 3.25 4.25 LPA (depending on qualifications and experience)
