Manager – Business Development

- Develop the market expansion strategies of the hotel portfolio
- Identify key markets to grow the brand presence
- Contact and develop relationships with key hotel owners looking to deploy long term capital into the sector.
- Develop relationships with Real Estate Developers/Property owners and take service apartment buildings on revenue share or long-term leases and develop new innovative business structures.
- Source, negotiate and secure recent long term third-party management and revenue share opportunities that fit the company’s market or geographic strategy.
- Cultivate and maintain existing relationships with owners, lenders, brokers, consultants, and brands to expand a high-quality pipeline.
- Evaluate properties based on potential financial return, quality of operations, location, and overall fit within group portfolio.
- Negotiate management agreements and lease agreements.
- Develop relationships with new owners and manage and grow relationships with existing owners.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.

Background and Skills





- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of hospitality business development or related experience.
- Thorough knowledge of the hotel industry and investment and operational proformas.
- Experience in other aspects of lodging, hospitality and real estate finance is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and skill of negotiating contracts and/legal clauses
- Knowledge of land use in India as well as ability to understand other complexities related to approvals.
- Work experience in countries other than India would be desirable.
- Prior experience in hotel third-party management development, contracting and negotiation, capital markets, and/or underwriting hotel investment deals is a plus.
- Possess superior communication skills, oral and written.
- Self-motivated, well organised, and results driven professional. Ability to meet deadlines.
- Superior client relationship building and management skills that result in long term retention and expansion of business.
