Associate Professor / Professor – Law

Chandigarh University invites applications from accomplished and experienced legal academicians for the positions of Associate Professor and Professor – Law at its campus in Gharuan, Mohali, Punjab.

Job Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Teach advanced courses in areas such as Constitutional Law, Corporate Law, International Law, and other specialised areas of Law.
- Develop and update course content, teaching materials, and academic resources.
- Conduct and supervise research in relevant areas of legal studies.
- Publish high-quality research papers in Scopus-indexed journals and other reputed academic publications.
- Guide and mentor students in academic and research activities.
- Supervise Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate research, where applicable.
- Contribute to curriculum development, academic administration, seminars, conferences, and other institutional activities.
- Participate in initiatives that strengthen the University's academic and research profile.

Eligibility Criteria
- Mandatory Qualification: PhD in Law from a recognized university/institution.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant academic/professional experience.
- Research Profile:



Robust and proven record of research publications, with publications in Scopus-indexed journals preferred/required.
- Demonstrated teaching experience in Law at a reputed university/institution.
- Strong academic, research, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Candidates with a strong research profile, academic leadership experience, and experience in reputed institutions will be preferred.
