This role owns how new users discover and enter our lending platform sourcing and evaluating new acquisition channels, running structured POCs to test them, and improving the onboarding and activation funnel once users arrive. Alongside this, you'll own the standard product responsibilities: writing PRDs, coordinating delivery with Engineering and Design, and driving decisions with data.
What you will do:
- Identify, evaluate, and pilot new acquisition channels affiliates, aggregators, DSAs, co lending/embedded finance partners, referral programs, WhatsApp/voice-based sourcing, offline to-online funnels, and emerging paid/organic channels
- Design and run structured POCs for new channels: define the hypothesis, success metrics, timeline, and explicit scale-or-kill criteria before recommending full rollout
- Own and optimize the customer acquisition funnel across web and app journeys from first touch through onboarding and activation
- Evaluate channel and campaign performance using CAC and payback period not just volume or cost-per-lead to judge whether a channel is worth scaling
- Track lead quality and downstream funnel health for new channels - bureau hit rate, approval rate, rejection rate, and fraud signals
- Evaluate and onboard new sourcing partners and vendors, including commercial terms, integration scope, and SLAs
- Define product requirements, write user stories and PRDs, and coordinate with Engineering and Design for feature delivery
- Apply user segmentation, attribution, and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing) to optimize acquisition performance
- Partner closely with Growth, Marketing, Business, Risk/Credit, Compliance, Partnerships/BD, Analytics,
and Engineering to improve acquisition outcomes end-to-end
What we're looking for:
- 1–2 years of experience in Product, Business Analysis, preferably in fintech, lending, or consumer internet products
- Understanding of customer acquisition funnels across web and app journeys, with the ability to identify onboarding and activation improvements
- Familiarity with acquisition channels, lead generation journeys, and optimization of user onboarding experiences, along with genuine curiosity to explore and test new, unproven channels
- Working understanding of unit economics in acquisition - CAC, payback period - and how they inform channel investment decisions
- Exposure to the broader lending/credit funnel (application → KYC → underwriting → disbursal) or willingness to learn it quickly, since acquisition quality here is judged beyond signup
- Awareness of basic regulatory and compliance guardrails relevant to digital lending sourcing (consent, data-sharing norms, DSA/agent compliance where applicable)
- Data-driven mindset with basic SQL skills and the ability to analyze acquisition funnels, campaign performance, and user behavior using Mixpanel, Tableau, or Excel
- Familiarity with attribution/MMP tools such as AppsFlyer, Branch,
or Adjust for multi-channel tracking.
- Ability to define product requirements, write user stories, and coordinate with Engineering and Design for feature delivery
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate acquisition metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements
- Understanding of user segmentation, attribution, and experimentation frameworks to optimize acquisition performance
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create PRDs, business requirement documents, and structured proposals
- High ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage features and stakeholder requirements.
