Role Description The Associate NCC Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at CT Group of Institutions in Jalandhar. The role involves coordinating and supervising NCC activities, including training sessions, drills, camps, and awareness programs for enrolled students.
The officer will work closely with institutional leadership and NCC authorities to plan annual training schedules, maintain discipline and safety standards, and ensure compliance with NCC guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring cadets, organizing events and parades, maintaining records and documentation, and promoting values of leadership, social responsibility,
and national service. The role also requires active participation in campus initiatives and collaboration with faculty and administrative staff to integrate NCC activities into the broader educational environment.
Qualifications
- Relevant NCC background, with experience in leading or supervising NCC cadets, and strong understanding of NCC rules, procedures, and training standards.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills, with the ability to guide students in discipline, responsibility, and community service.
- Robust organizational and event coordination abilities for managing training schedules, camps, parades, and campus activities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, faculty, institutional leadership, and NCC authorities.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records related to cadet performance, attendance, and NCC activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution; prior NCC certification or service experience is highly preferred.
- Commitment to student welfare, physical fitness, and holistic development, with readiness to participate in outdoor and field activities.
- Familiarity with institutional policies and willingness to work within a structured academic environment.
