: Associate - Category Management
Experience: 3.0-5.0 years
Overview:
As an Associate in Category Management,
you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the product categories within the organization. You will be responsible for driving category strategies, assortment planning, pricing, and promotional activities to maximize revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop category plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct regular market analysis and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to drive category growth.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
- Monitor category performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute category initiatives and campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics to anticipate changes and proactively address challenges.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions. Overall, as an Associate in Category Management, you will need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
