Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Project Manager role based in Bhubaneswar.

The Assistant Project

Manager supports project planning and execution across Z-Tech’s key business areas, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients to maintain timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include assisting in preparing project schedules, tracking milestones, managing documentation, and following up on deliverables to ensure smooth expediting and logistics. The role also involves supporting site inspections, reporting project progress, identifying risks, and contributing to solutions that align with environmental and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in expediting and Expeditor-related activities to track materials, follow up on deliveries, and ensure timely availability of project resources.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, task coordination, and basic risk monitoring for multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Candidates should possess Inspection skills to support on-site checks, quality verification, and compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate transportation, storage, and distribution of materials while optimizing cost and time.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field are preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills, with proficiency in common project management and office software tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and maintain a high level of professionalism on-site.
- Familiarity with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements in infrastructure or industrial projects is an advantage.
