Role Description The Assistant Professor (Computer Science Engineering) will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting tutorials and laboratory sessions, and guiding students in core and advanced areas of computer science. Daily activities include preparing and updating course materials, engaging in curriculum development, assessing student performance, and providing academic mentoring. The role also involves participating in departmental meetings, contributing to research and scholarly activities, and supporting university initiatives and events.

This is a full-time, on-site role based at RKDF University Ranchi.





Qualifications

Solid foundation in Computer Science and Computer Science Engineering, with the ability to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Proficiency in Programming and Data Science, including experience with relevant languages, tools, and frameworks.

Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts and practices, with the ability to integrate security topics into teaching and research.

Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessments aligned with academic standards.

Postgraduate degree M. Tech or Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related field, in line with regulatory requirements.

Demonstrated interest in research, publications, or industry projects in computer science or related domains.

Effective communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with a learner-centered approach to teaching.

Ability to collaborate with colleagues, contribute to institutional development, and engage in continuous professional development.
