Role Description The Assistant Professor – Computer Engineering will be responsible for planning and delivering lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate students in Computer Engineering. Day-to-day tasks include designing course materials, mentoring students, supervising projects, and assessing student performance through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations.

The role also involves contributing to curriculum enhancement, engaging in academic research or scholarly activities, and participating in departmental meetings, academic committees, and student development initiatives.

Professor will collaborate with colleagues to maintain high academic standards, support accreditation requirements,



and foster an inclusive, learner-centered environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the SIEM campus in Nasik.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Information Technology, with the ability to teach core and advanced topics in Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in Programming (such as C, C++, Java, Python, or similar languages) and practical experience in software development or related projects.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts and practices, with the capability to introduce students to secure coding, network security, and data protection principles.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessment strategies aligned with academic standards.
- Postgraduate degree (M.E./M.Tech/MS) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university; Ph.D. preferred or willingness to pursue.
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level or relevant industry experience that can be translated into classroom learning.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with a commitment to gender-neutral, inclusive, and non-discriminatory teaching practices.
- Ability to guide student projects, support research initiatives, and contribute to departmental development and institutional activities.
- Familiarity with up-to-date teaching tools, learning management systems, and outcome-based education methodologies.
