The Assistant Professor in the Department of CLINICAL LAB TECHNOLOGY will play a critical role in fulfilling the college's mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate level botany courses, conducting research in the field of botany, and contributing to the department's and the college's commitment to innovation and excellence in education.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate level botany courses /Clinical Lab Tech / Bio Chemistry
- Conduct research in the field of botany / Clinical Lab Tech / Bio Chemistry
- Mentor students and encourage their participation in research and academic pursuits
- Engage in scholarly and professional activities to remain current in the field
- Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to promote interdisciplinary programs and initiatives
- Contribute to departmental and college-wide committees and initiatives
- Publish research findings in academic journals and present at conferences
Qualifications
- Minimum M.Sc., degree in Micro Biology / Bio Chemistry or a related field
- Solid research and teaching experience in the field of Micro Biology / Bio Chemistry
- Demonstrated ability to publish research in academic journals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
