Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager – Purchase to lead and manage procurement activities for residential and commercial real estate projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor development, commercial negotiations, procurement planning, and timely availability of construction materials and services while ensuring cost optimization, quality, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for multiple real estate projects.
- Procure Civil, Structural, MEP, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Finishing, Interior, and Infrastructure materials.
- Identify, evaluate, develop, and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Float enquiries, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements (CS), and negotiate commercial terms.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs), Work Orders (WOs), and Annual Rate Contracts (ARCs).
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project schedules.
- Coordinate with Project, Contracts, QS, Planning, Stores, and Finance teams for procurement requirements.
- Monitor procurement budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives through effective negotiations and value engineering.
- Track vendor performance, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, statutory regulations,



and internal audit requirements.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor database, and ERP/SAP transactions.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports and procurement dashboards.
- Resolve procurement-related issues and ensure uninterrupted material availability at project sites.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the purchase team to achieve departmental goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Commerce, or Supply Chain Management.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management or Operations will be an added advantage.
- Experience: 7–15 Years in Purchase/Procurement within the Real Estate or Construction Industry.
- Solid knowledge of construction materials, procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight timelines.
